This hotel was basically brand new when we stayed in August 2024. Very spacious bedrooms with bedroom and lounge areas (and two televisions) and nicely appointed bathrooms. We stayed as a family of seven and the hotel gave us two rooms right next door to each other. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool, even though is was a chilly evening when we were there..! We only stayed for one night to break up a long journey as part of a road trip around California and it was very comfortable, clean and excellent value for money. There are a handful of fast food restaurants nearby. Breakfast was great - help yourself to a selection of fresh food, with helpful staff on hand to assist. Highly recommended.

Convenient easy access for a one night stop while on the road off of I-5. Property was well maintained, bed was comfy and the room had modern conveniences, microwave, refrigerator, nice large TV, bathroom with all essentials and an easy to use thermostat. The pool and hot tub are closed for Winter months. But the breakfast had a nice selection of hot and cold dishes and was very tasty with plenty of choices. I am happy to have found a comfortable, midway stopping spot while traveling to the desert and break up the long drive. Staff was also courteous and friendly. I had my small dog and didn’t know they charged a $50 fee but given the decent room fee it wasn’t a deal breaker at all.

We stayed twice at this hotel--on our way north and on our return south. The staff was very accommodating, going in person to check rooms to see if there was a bathtub which I had requested (it would save them time if they had a chart with that info on it). Our first night was a lovely king room on the 3rd floor, whereas on our return we stayed in a 2-queen room on the ground floor. It wasn't as quite as nice as the king room--there was a large chaise lounge in the king room, but no where to sit except the desk chair in the queen room. Great breakfast. I love the Holiday Inn Express hot cinnamon rolls!

We stop here about once a year on our way to Long Beach. The first room we were given (King Rm) had no lounge chair and the desk chair was broken (if you leaned back the chair back was broken and tripped you backward), went to front desk and asked for another room. The second room had chairs but the floor (carpet) near the heating/air unit was soaking wet and the room smelled like wet carpet. Again went to the front desk, Dwayne was so nice and apologized and gave us an up grade and helped us move our stuff. Dwayne was polite and professional he is a credit to your Hotel.

The person who checked us in was so friendly and helpful and even at 2am took the time and brought us up a new tv remote as the one in the room wasn’t working. Breakfast staff were also super nice and friendly and helpful.. The rooms were very clean and modern and the beds were even comfy. For the price and just everything else it was just a great stay and definitely plan booking here again whenever we are out this way.
